about

Dana is an industry professional who began her career as a feature script supervisor and in production coordination on longform television. Prior to that, she studied acting with Actors’ Equity Association member, Arizona Theatre Company. She studied voice at the Rousseau Conservatory and earned a Masters Degree in Media Arts from the School of Theatre, Film and Television at the University of Arizona.
Shortly following graduation, Dana began devoting herself fulltime to writing. On assignment, she has produced work for such companies as Robert Kosberg Productions/MGM, CFP Productions/Paramount, Crimson Forest, and Radiant Studios as well as for producer, James Middleton, and billionaire entrepreneur, Robert Pamplin, of Pamplin Media Group for whom she wrote a biographical short.
Dana has also written several magazine articles, was a featured blogger for online journal, The Writers’ Dojo, and wrote a travel book that shot past sales of Frommer’s Guide to the same area in a matter of weeks.
For the last eleven years, she’s had the honor of working hand-in-hand with writing partner, Nick Hagen. Covering both film and television, they’ve developed projects with producers, Sherryl Clark (The Gorge, Cloverfield), Paul Stupin (Dawson’s Creek, Switched at Birth), Black Label Media (La La Land, 12 Strong), and Radiant Studios (Refugee, An Incomplete Education) to name just a few. They have been in active series development with some of these producers on the New York Times bestselling series of novels, The Haunting of Sunshine Girl, as well as both live action and animated versions of their property, Nottingham High. And currently, they’re finishing up the first season of a multi-platform narrative podcast and have several titles in both features and television under option.
Dana and Nick have numerous projects currently being shopped to producers and a slew in development. They are currently repped by Paul Weitzman at CCE.
